Frequently asked questions
What is soft landscaping?
Soft landscaping covers the living elements of a landscape scheme: topsoil and ground preparation, trees, shrubs, hedging, herbaceous planting, turf, seeding and mulching. Hard landscaping is the paving, walls and fencing. EdenGreen Gardens specialises in the soft landscaping package.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Fleet, Hampshire and work across the South East of England: Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, West Sussex, East Sussex, Kent, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the Isle of Wight.
Are you accredited for commercial and new-build sites?
Yes. EdenGreen Gardens Ltd is SSIP accredited, a CHAS accredited contractor and SMAS Worksafe registered, with public liability, professional indemnity and contractors all-risks insurance in place, so we can be appointed as a subcontractor on commercial and new-build developments.
Can you price from a landscape architect's planting plan?
Yes. Send us the planting plan, specification and schedule and we will return an itemised estimate covering supply, planting, turfing and any establishment maintenance period required by the planning condition.
Do you offer planting establishment and maintenance?
Yes. We provide maintenance for both commercial landscapes and private gardens, including the establishment periods often required to discharge landscape planning conditions.
Do you work for private homeowners as well as developers?
Yes. Alongside our commercial work we plant and turf private gardens, either to a garden designer's plan or to a scheme we put together with you.
